Since the song was written in 1941 the following people have covered the song (according to Wikipedia) Ella Fitzgerald, Jason Mraz, Phoebe Snow, Miles Davis, Martina McBride, Céline Dion, Lou Rawls, Eva Cassidy, Christina Aguilera, Joni Mitchell, Stevie Nicks, Norah Jones, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder, Jimmy Scott, The Manhattan Rhythm Kings, Cyndi Lauper, Aubrey O'Day, Beyonce Knowles, Nikki Yanofsky, the band that played at Johnny Sax's daughters wedding and numerous other annoying as shit karaoke singers. Not long after that Etta's version also became a hit. Not long after that Nat King Cole sang the song and it became a #1 hit. Obviously the song I speak of is "At Last." For those who need a music lesson, the song was written in 1941 by two guys named Mack Gordon & Harry Warren. That one thing is singing a song that she never even wrote. Etta James is famous for about two things, check that, one thing. Fuji said to me back in the day, but one thing is for sure, you can say pretty much anything about me or my family, but the second you throw Beyonce into the mix, I'll fight to the death, especially when it's some old bag like Etta James doing the talking.
